About Dr. Lopamudra

Late  DR. Lopamudra Srichandan. A lady of versatility. A cute daughter, a caring and adorable daughter in law, a lovely wife, an affectionate mother, a genuine friend at home. These adjectives are not sufficient to narrate her personality. Outside home she was very skilled administrator. She did have her own way of administration and management. Working with less skilled persons without overpowering was her trade mark skill. Hospitality at the workplace was a regular practice at her end. In short she was a nice complete beautiful personality.

A Master in Journalism and mass communication and Political science and a Doctorate in Journalism she was very popular among the scholars. At the other side she did have a dedicated life towards health and humanity. She was the managing partner of Astang Ayurveda. She was the founder President of ASTHAA Foundation. She did have the vision of conducting seminars, symposium and conference, workshop of National and International level.

She will be living as a light house for all who sail in the ocean of hope for humanity.

Lopamudra Srichandan was born to a middle class family of Mrs Girija Nayak and Mr Bimbadhar Srichandan of Malipada, Khurda on 28th October 1977. She did her schooling in the tribal dominated area  of Rairangpur and Keonjhar. As a bright career she did her graduation in Ravenshaw College, Cuttack.

After her graduation in political science Honours from Ravenshaw Cuttack (in 1998), she completed her Master degree in Political Science in the year 2000 followed by the 2nd Maser degree in Developmental Journalism and Electronic Communication in 2002, both from Utkal University. She successfully completed PhD in Mass Communication in the year 2008 from Berhampur University.

She has presented research papers at various national level seminars. Many of her research papers and articles are published in numbers of reputed Journals. She was associated with various media studies institutions and was actively engaged in teaching master degree students of the Department of Mass Communication at Utkal University and Institute of Media Studies, Bhubaneswar.

She was the managing partner of Astang Ayurveda. Also as the President of ASTHAAA Foundation, she left her foot print on the sand of time.
